Kevin Lanier Lisenby is a student-athlete, mentor, and co-founder of Lisenby Legacy Athletics. Born in Maryland and raised in Prince George's County, Kevin's passion for sports began at the age of five when he started playing organized basketball and soccer through the Prince George's County Boys & Girls Club. His early experiences in youth sports helped shape the leadership, discipline, and teamwork values that continue to guide him today.

Throughout his athletic career, Kevin has consistently demonstrated leadership both on and off the court. He played competitive basketball for several years and earned a reputation as a dependable starter, respected teammate, and positive influence among his peers. While attending College Park Academy, Kevin was selected to the varsity basketball program as a junior point guard. Choosing team success over personal recognition, he accepted a leadership role on the junior varsity team, where he led the team in scoring, rebounds, steals, free throws, and multiple statistical categories while serving as a mentor to younger players.

As a senior, Kevin earned a starting position on the varsity basketball team as a shooting guard, showcasing his ability to score from anywhere on the court and contribute in critical moments. His dedication, work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement earned the respect of teammates, coaches, and classmates alike.

In addition to athletics, Kevin participated in the Verizon Innovative Learning Program hosted at George Washington University, where he gained valuable exposure to technology, leadership, and professional development opportunities.

Kevin graduated from College Park Academy and is currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration at Towson University. Through his academic studies and real-world experiences, he has developed a strong understanding of the business side of sports and the importance of creating opportunities for young athletes.
